David Lester
Biography:
After founding and growing three startups (two in software, one in media) David is experienced at finding product market fit and then scaling. His most recent company was citrus HR, the leader in tech-enabled HR Support for small companies in the UK.
As with most startups. David has seen his companies needing to pivot, adapt to intense competition, cope with market shocks and take advantage of dramatic market growth. He knows that things go wrong, and that successful businesses are those that cope well when that happens. David has sold two of his companies for over £50 million in aggregate.
David is an active angel investor and has sat on numerous boards, including Watford Football Club. He now advises smaller companies, mainly B2B SaaS companies, on how to scale- with an emphasis on how to build strong, sustainably profitable businesses.
A qualified Chartered Accountant, David can advise on finance, strategy, successful team-building, and ops to ensure continued high performance.
