A decade of celebrating the entrepreneurial talent of the tech industry, the Enterprise Awards returns in 2022 with a special event to mark the 10th anniversary.
Also known as ‘the Oscars for Technology Entrepreneurs’, the Awards was founded by ScaleUp Group’s Executive Chairman, John O’Connell in association with the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists to recognise the best of the best in the sector.
John says “I founded the Enterprise Awards to identify and recognise individual entrepreneurs in technology, who are making a notable difference by devising products and solutions which have a positive impact on the community, society and business. Devising such new solutions is one thing but making this into a business success is vastly more challenging, hence the emphasis the Enterprise Awards has on revenue growth as well as technology and execution excellence. Winners rightly deserve all the accolades and recognition which come their way. They also inspire others as well as making a material contribution to society by employing more people and improving society in many ways.”

Uniquely focussed on the founders rather than the businesses themselves, the event has boasted previous winners of prominence on both private and public markets. The most prestigious alumni of industry leaders include Wise, Blue Prism, Quantexa, Darktrace, TPXimpact (formerly Panoply) and ActiveOps, alongside hundreds of other nominated businesses over the past 10 years.
This year’s judging panel of 8 industry experts will look for evidence of vision, growth, innovation, funding, use of capital, use of resources, strategy, execution, ambition and determination to succeed.
Crowning the occasion is the Awards Dinner hosted at the prestigious Goldsmiths’ Hall in the City of London on Wednesday the 6th of April 2022.
